A rare therapist who sees the whole picture, not just the symptoms.

I can’t recommend Helen highly enough. I initially found her by chance while travelling for work, desperately trying to sort out a painful crick in my neck—and thank goodness I did.
From the moment I met her, it was clear Helen has an exceptional understanding of the body and how everything connects. What really drew me to her was her holistic approach, and she completely exceeded my expectations. She is, without a doubt, the best therapist I’ve ever seen when it comes to truly understanding the interplay between different systems in the body.

I’ve been dealing with a range of ongoing health challenges lately, chronic pain, allergies, fatigue, and despite countless NHS appointments and even investing in a functional medicine doctor, I still felt lost. Helen was the first person who genuinely connected the dots for me. She listened deeply, took everything into account, and gave me a level of clarity that no one else has.
Not only that, she equipped me with practical tools and techniques to help myself moving forward, which has been incredibly empowering. Some of the methods she used like chromotherapy were fascinating, and I was amazed at how effective they were. Her knowledge of hypermobility and complex conditions is clearly extensive, and you can tell she is truly passionate and invested in what she does.

Meeting Helen felt like perfect timing at a point when I really needed direction. After feeling stuck for so long, I finally have a clearer plan and a sense of hope again.

On top of all her expertise, Helen is an absolutely lovely person, warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to. Her treatment space is beautiful and calming, which only adds to the whole experience.
Honestly, I think everyone owes it to themselves to book an appointment and see how Helen can help. I’m so glad I did, and I’m confident you will be too.

I have been working with Helen for a few months now and she has really given me a lot of insight into more than just the physical side of treatment, I have been able to learn a lot about what affects my body through sound, sight and environment. I have been able to make progress with her to improve certain ailments in my body and to calm my nervous system, I highly recommend someone who tailors the sessions to what suits you best and someone who is highly passionate about what they do

Amazing! I went in with stress in my back and neck and after an assessment Helen also helped me with another issue I’d had following a sinus illness - helping me work towards restoring my sense of smell. I’d recommend Helen 100%
    Thank you

I was recommended to see Helen by my wife (who sees her for sports massage) because I have joint, balance and mobility issues stemming from an injury 12 years ago. Helen is enthusiastic and passionate about what she does and has what I can only describe as witchy powers for making pain subside and keep under control. I highly recommend seeing Helen even if you are not a big fan of massage (as I am not) she has helped me massively in the last 3 months and every time I see her come away with new ways to manage my pain or progress my mobility.

I have been going to Helen at TIME OUT MASSAGE AND MOVEMENT for a few months now, and she is genuinely incredible at what she does. She has helped me so much with a few niggling issues that had been hanging around, and I have noticed a real difference because of her work.

Helen is kind, friendly, and really approachable, so you feel comfortable straight away. At the same time, she is brilliant at picking up on things that other places either missed or overlooked, and she explains what is going on in a clear, reassuring way.

Highly recommended if you want someone who really knows their craft and actually gets results.

I went to see Helen on a recommendation from my friends, and went in with high hopes but low expectations as have been let down in the past by other people I have gone to for help for my constant pain.
Helen helps you to open your mind to look at the whole body and mind and not just the one thing that hurts the most. I had no idea that what I thought was normal like my poor balance and coordination could actually be the reason why I was in pain all the time. Also that coloured glasses and something warm, and a back support wrap could calm my body down to be receptive to new things, and relax enough to let go of the continuous pain.
I can't explain how Helen does what she does but I can honestly say that if you can just give her a chance then Helen will find a way to make your life better! I have never been able to walk in a straight line (ever!) but Helen made it possible!
Genuinely it may sound crazy! But all I can say from my own experience is if you give your trust and time to Helen she genuinely will improve your life and pain levels for the better!

I cannot recommend Helen highly enough! She's brilliant, kind and caring. I have scoliosis and get a lot of pain in my back and hip areas. Having almost given up hope of it ever improving after going down the usual NHS physio route, I went to see Helen and after just a few sessions I can feel a massive difference. Thank you!

Booked in with Helen, after mentioning to her my balance at Pilates was not great. Well what can I say after some magic a creak in my neck had disappeared (which I didn’t go in for) and balance has improved with daily routine continued even my instructor said this week there is a definite improvement in my balance.
Would 100% recommend Time out Massage and Movement, and say expect the unexpected, with great results. Thank you x

Helen is amazing. She has shown me different ways of understanding my neck and shoulder pain and strategies to deal with it. Having suffered with this for over 20 years it is so refreshing to find someone with a different approach.
